	Director Profiles Melissa Sturgess BSc, MBA Non-executive Chairman Melissa Sturgess holds a BSc and a MBA from the University of Western Australia and commenced her career with British Airways and Australian law firm Mallesons Stephen Jacques before commencing a consulting role with Aquarius Platinum Limited (ASX, LSE: AQP) and moving full time into the corporate development of resources companies. She was appointed Chairman of Carlton on 15 October 2009. She also holds the position of CEO and Chairman of Nyota Minerals Limited (ASX, AIM:NYO). In that role she has overseen the renegotiation of the company's interests in the Muremera Nickel Project in Burundi and the takeover of Minerava Resources Plc to access its highly prospective gold exploration projects in Ethiopia. Melissa was also a founding director of Sylvania Resources Limited (ASX, AIM:SLV) and Churchill Mining Plc (AIM:CHL). Mark Burchnall LLB, BA Chief Executive Officer Mr Burchnall graduated as a lawyer in 1999 and worked in that capacity for approximately eight years with a number of prominent Australian law firms.  Most recently, he was employed as a Senior Associate with Clayton Utz in Perth, Australia where he worked for over four years in the corporate, energy and resources area, providing advice to a number of Australian and internationally listed clients, primarily with a natural resources focus in areas including capital raising, asset and share sales and acquisitions (with the associated due diligence enquires).  In 2006 he left the legal profession and has since held the role of Manager - Strategic Development with both Nyota Minerals Limited and (formerly) Sylvania Resources Limited, as well as having been a past director of Bezant Resources Plc and Washington Resources Limited. Richard Jarvis FCCA Executive Director Mr Jarvis is a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and has over 10 years financial and accounting experience gained in both public practice and industry. On emigrating to Australia from the UK in 2003 he worked as a Senior Accountant in the assurance and advisory division of a public practice based in Perth, providing advice on corporate administration and financial compliance related issues. In 2007 he established his own consulting business, which provides financial & accounting and company secretarial services to public companies in the resource sector.  He has been associated with a number of publicly listed companies since that time, including Sylvania Resources Limited (AIM and ASX: SLV), Bezant Resources Plc (AIM: BZT), Washington Resources Limited (ASX: WRL) and Nyota Minerals Limited (AIM and ASX: DWY) and is currently Chief Financial Officer of the latter. Martyn John Churchouse BSc, MSc, MBA Non-executive Director Mr Churchouse is a geologist with 25 years' experience, including 14 years in Africa with Johannesburg Consolidated Industries as a senior mine geologist, for Anglo American-Namibia as a senior geologist, and for Gold Fields Namibia and Gold Fields Ghana. He has also spent 7 years working on exploration and mining projects in Eastern Europe including the position of mine manager of a 2.5 Mtpy tailings reclamation project. Martyn Churchouse is responsible for overseeing production and exploration programmes as well as acquisition of new mining projects and exploration licenses.
